Occupational “therapy” for Jews threatened by mass-murder

While DEBKAfile reports that – given that the Russians seem to have agreed with the Iranian anti-Semitic rackets upon starting to feed it with nuclear fuel rods already on the 21st of August, protecting it from an Israeli attack – Israel has probably only one week left for damaging the Bushehr atomic facility without causing much harm to civilians, the so-called Middle East Quartet, of which Russia is part, enthusiastically represented by the new face of the EU, Catherine Ashton, has found just in time another “good” distraction for the Israelis, coercing the anti-Semitic PA president Mahmoud Abbas into “direct talks” within a few hours while there are signs that it is willing to impose its own preconditions on Israel in his stead now, e.g. putting pressure on it to make Judea and Samaria judenrein.

While the “Quartet” and the whole world only feigns to be serious and concerned not only for the Arabs who in their majority, especially in the “West Bank,” still wish to destroy Israel, but even for the Jews, and is indeed only torturing the Israelis in order to have them make more and more concessions to those aiming at their destruction, by acting as if it is all just a game like the Nazis’ “games” explained by the protagonist Guido to his own son in Roberto Benigni’s kitsch film “La vita è bella” in order to have him have some kind of a happy childhood despite the Shoah, Caroline Glick has recently explained (again) the seriousness of the threats Israel is facing thanks to the fact that the West would so very much like to dream on of “peace” and “friendship” with those who are preparing a new Holocaust, and, for a little afterward, the rest of the West’s end:

“The Religion of Believing that Serbs are Mass Murderers”

That is my favorite headline so far this month. My favorite quotation is:

If the tribunal at the Hague were a real court, by the end of the proceedings it would find that what Karadzic is actually guilty of is being a Serb general. And of defending a population that is guilty of breathing while Serbian.

Both are from Julia Gorin.

But under the headline quoted in the headline of this post, there is also another important sentence, contained in a comment by a certain Arius:

What the Muslims did in the Balkans they are trying to replicate to bring down Israel.

The first real “official” dead victim of the Turkish-led Islamist “freedom flotilla”

Given that, as opposed to the Turkish “activists” or the Iranian MPs vowing to arrive next, Yehushua Sofer did not seek “martyrdom” for free, will the Turkish prime minister Erdogan apologize and pay compensation to his family? Or will his associate European or US “peace activists”? Or the EU, the “honest broker”, which in the meantime has already jumped on Erdogan’s bandwagon pressing hard for a further easing of the Gaza blockade?

Al-Aqsa Brigade claims attack

A faction of Fatah’s al-Aqsa Martyr’s Brigade claimed responsibility for Monday’s terror attack in the Hebron Hills in which Israeli police officer Yehushua Sofer was killed, reported the Palestinian news agency Ma’an.
The attack came as a response to the raid on the Gaza aid flotilla, according to the report.

“We con the world” video clip on Wejew.com (and as ringtone)

Update, 3/10/2010:

I have extracted a “ringtone” from the video. You may want to download it by right-clicking here and saving it on your computer.

“We con the World” blocked by YouTube

Of course it is YouTube‘s legal right to block videos for fear of legal and financial consequences, but the question is: How come they fear this in the case of a real piece of satiric art which is completely independent from the “original,” whose artistic quality is that of a banal advertisement.

From the blog The Cassandra Effect:

Google (Don’t be Evil) has just blocked the video of We con the world – the parody song from LatmaTV.   From Caroline Glick:

As Israel went offline for the Jewish sabbath, YouTube removed most versions of Latma’s hit parody song We Con the World. If you try to access the song on YouTube you receive the notification:
This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Warner/ Chappell Music, Inc. .
Copyright experts we advised with before posting the song told us in no uncertain terms that we were within our rights to use the song because we did so in accordance with the Fair Use Doctrine. The Fair Use Doctrine, copied and pasted below from the US Copyright Office stipulates that it is legal and permissible to use copyrighted material under the fair use doctrine for purposes of parody.

Copyright attorneys also warned us that given our clearly lawful use of the song We are the World, if anyone wished to silence our voices, they wouldn’t target us. Instead they would target YouTube. It is YouTube’s standard practice to remove any material that they receive even the flimsiest threat for because the company wishes to avoid all litigation.

At the same time, this is not YouTube’s first move to silence Israeli voices. During Operation Cast Lead, the IDF Spokesman’s Unit established a YouTube channel and began posting combat footage on its channel to bypass the anti-Israel media and go directly to news consumers.
Shortly after the IDF channel began making waves, YouTube – which is owned by Google – removed IDF videos from the website. After the move evoked a storm of protest, YouTube restored them but flagged the videos in the same manner it flags pornography. People trying to access the videos received a screen saying, “This video or group may contain content that is inappropriate for some users, as flagged by YouTube’s user community. To view this video or group please verify that you are 18 or older by singing in and signing up.”
Here’s a link to the write-up of the YouTube move.
If YouTube didn’t already have a track record for censoring pro-Israel material, I would say that despite the obviously frivolous and unsubstantiated nature of the copyright claim against We Con the World, the company was simply erring on the side of caution.

Strange that a search of “Song Parody” on youTube reveals 858,000 hits.  Most are hit song parodies flat out stealing the underlying music and even video from the musician.  But somehow or another, those are ok – but a song by Jews poking fun at the Gaza flotilla’s true intentions MUST BE BLOCKED!  The top hit is a Shakira song with over 32 Million views, ext a Britney Spears video with 29 Million, Katy Perry with 28 Million, and Lady Gaga with 27 Million views.  And I am supposed to believe that those song parodies are fine with exposure of nearly 10 times the viewership and years of availability on youtubes site, while a Jewish parody with 3 million views and a week of exposure on youtube is wrong?  I call Bull$hit on this

Two things I need you to do

1) Defend Free Speech – Support Latma

2) Email YouTube and Demand that all song parodies be blocked – email them about every single individual song – a huge driver of their content is the music video – if they won’t protect free speech and fair use, then they should apply their rules EQUALLY across the board -there nearly a million song parodies waiting – get to work dear readers!

If you’re interested in watching or downloading the video (there exists some free software for doing this, and if you still want to be nice to Google, “google” for it) at the time of this posting at least some links still work, among them the upper one here. To check (later) for other, newer, and hopefully more stable  links I recommend visiting Caroline Glick’s blog. She has just announced that a download link for the video will be posted there tomorrow.

“Turks” and “Germans” parade in Malta to celebrate the “freedom flotilla”

Some newspaper headlines can lie much better than (non-doctored) videos: Who are the victims of Gaza? The inhabitants of Gaza City? All of them? And what did Gaza City do to them? “Free” them of all Jews?

If, by Gaza, the Hamas-run political entity is meant, the demonstration celebrated by the Times of Malta on the 4th of June was certainly not in favor of any victims, it was a demonstration in solidarity with (real and wannabe)  Jew murderers. And it seems that some demonstrators very much wanted this to be quite clear, so clear that the brave Maltese police had to intervene.

Two sieges in one
The following statement made by the Times of Malta might be true:

The organisations supporting the event were Alternattiva Demokratika Zaghzagh, the Arabic Cultural Information Society (ACIS), Euro-Med, Kopin (Koperazzjoni Internazzjonali – Malta), Moviment Azzjoni Xellug, Moviment Graffitti, Peace lab, Stand4Palestine – Malta, Third World Group and Zminijietna.

Maltese citizens hit out at ‘peaceful’ protesters: “They sought confrontation and got the confrontation they wanted”

“The activists’ effort […] cannot be considered other than violent and illegal. There is no other way to define a concerted and well planned action which seeks to prevent another from carrying out his lawful activities,” the federation said.

Curious? Read more in “The Times of Malta(stan),” 5/6/2010. Hint: Although it is about ships with a certain kind of careerists aboard, the article doesn’t deal with the anti-Semitic “freedom flotilla,” rather with fish, but if you are not an anti-Semite, you have to hold your nose only if you read that and other articles on that site, too.

More Bianca Zammit “news”

From the Jerusalem Post (online, Lenny Ben-David), 15/5/2010:

One of the stars of the Rachel Corrie’s welcoming committee will be Bianca Zammit, a Maltese woman member of ISM and Gaza resident, who was shot in the thigh by an IDF soldier during a demonstration close to the Gaza-Israel border on April 24. Like Corrie, Zammit was devoted to the Palestinians of Gaza, writing extensively about the plight of Palestinian prisoners in Israel. And like Corrie, she was determined to challenge the IDF, even if it killed her. Continue reading More Bianca Zammit “news”

Turkish-led “peaceful” Jihad flotilla ship MV Rachel Corrie is on its way to Gaza from Malta

This was reported some hours ago by the blog The Muqata which is currently providing much material about the “peacefulness” of the deadly anti-Semitic Hamas support “show” strongly sustained by the Jihadist Turkish prime minister Erdogan.

Erdogan, according to Wikipedia, “was given a prison sentence [in 1998] after he had read poetry regarded as a violation of Kemalism by judges. It included lines translated as ‘The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers…'” (Before reading that, I was quite sure that he had read the quoted sentence aloud, approvingly, and enthusiastically, to a large public, but Wikipedia will certainly know better! He read it secretly under his bedspread.)

The Muqata has published, among others, a photograph of one of the faithful present on one of the “peaceful protest” flotilla:

Reassuring news from Gaza: Bianca Zammit probably unhurt in recent “protest”

Donkey detonated on Gaza border

By ASSOCIATED PRESS AND JPOST.COM STAFF
Animal dead, no human casualties; 200 kg of dynamite heaped on cart.
[…]
A small Syrian-backed terrorist group in Gaza said its activists blew up a donkey cart laden with explosives close to the border with Israel on Tuesday, killing the animal but causing no human casualties.

Of course, being a “peaceful” protester, the young Maltese anti-Zionist activist and anti-Israel boycott campaigner Bianca Zammit was probably not even present at the “demonstration”.

And not even there: Continue reading Reassuring news from Gaza: Bianca Zammit probably unhurt in recent “protest”

Darkness, light and journalism

матрациAbout a month ago I had a strange experience. Reading a certain interview published on the Jerusalem Post’s website, I had the impression that the person interviewed was explaining to me very clearly the reasons why I had been so depressed for the last 17 years (at least) – even if I am not Jewish and my personal history, at first sight, would not seem to be connected at all to the recent history of Israel (which was the topic of the interview). His words relieved and encouraged me. In other words, and as the saying goes: I finally saw a ray of light. But the ray of light suddenly disappeared again when I read the last interview “question”:
