“[W]hether the negotiations go on forever or end at a certain point, the result won’t be a train wreck. It will be Iran with a nuclear bomb or nuclear arsenal in its basement, waiting for a propitious moment to conduct a nuclear weapons test or attack.”
Can there be any doubt any more that the the current US administration, the EU, the UN (with its “Year of Solidarity with the Palestinian People”), the PA and Iran are now all working hand in hand and increasingly hard to weaken Israel, while re-strengthening Iran, just as the world’s anti-Semites have always wished would happen?
The decision to create such weapons lies in the ‘political will’ of its leaders.” – Jerusalem Post (online) reporting on an “annual US intelligence assessment [that] was presented to the [US] Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday.”
is akin to offering Zyklon B gas to Hitler as long as he promised not to gas the Jews. How could Obama’s initiative be otherwise? His actions belie his intent.” Continue reading “President Obama’s path to allow Iran to have nuclear power
“Israel faces serious threats from Iran, its Sunni rivals and their proxy terrorist armies inside and around its borders, but its biggest threat may come from its own left.” – Daniel Greenfield (more)
P.S.: As if she wanted to illustrate Daniel Greenfield’s conclusion, Labor Party head Shelly Yechimovich said today in the Israeli parliament:
“Why the talk of the ‘apocalypse?’,” […] “We survived Pharaoh in Egypt, we lived through the destruction of the First and Second Temples, the Holocaust, the War of Independence, the Yom Kippur War, and much more. The Jewish people are not in danger.”
See? The Jewish people are not in danger because they lived through almost everything imaginable and unimaginable. The Jewish people might have to suffer a little bit more in the near future, but on a worldwide scale as many as two thirds of them survived even the Holocaust, for instance. That’s why the Jewish people are not in any danger even now.
Who cares about Jewish individuals. Who cares about Israel. Who cares about a second Holocaust, prepared and perpetrated by Iran.
Theodor W. Adorno’s categorical imperative saying that everything should be organised in a way that Auschwitz cannot repeat itself has been turned into its opposite: especially since the beginning of the “Arab spring”, everything is increasingly being organised in a way that it is most probable for it to happen again soon. Als Schriftsteller ist Günter Grass ein Schmied, der reiz- und formlose Klumpen zusammenhämmert, mit denen man kaum mehr anfangen kann, als sie Leuten über den Kopf zu hauen.

And never did I deviate from my marching orders. – Günter Grass
Among all those who have commented on Günter Grass’s recent propaganda “poem” against Israel, some have criticized that not enough attention has been paid to his proposal of disarming the Jewish State. Their judgment appears now to have been slightly premature. After the anti-Semitic tirade of the former Waffen-SS member was immediately lauded by a representative of the Iranian regime, the Israeli intelligence news site DEBKAfile reported that “Iran’s ‘new initiatives’ place Israel at [the] center of nuclear talks” and that, among other things, in the upcoming ‘nuclear talks’ in Istanbul, Continue reading Iran appears to have adopted the ‘Grassist imperative’ as a basic condition for a ‘hudna’ with the West

While the Obama administration has not reconciled itself to the futility of curbing Tehran’s nuclear buildup through diplomatic means, most Israelis have given up hope that the international sanctions can dissuade the Islamic Republic from acquiring the means to murder by the millions. Israel’s leadership faces a stark choice—either come to terms with a nuclear Iran or launch a preemptive military strike. Continue reading Iran’s Nukes and Israel’s Dilemma

The so-called “Arab Spring” continues to transition into a “Christian Winter,” including in those nations undergoing democratic change, such as Egypt, where the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafis dominated the elections—unsurprisingly so, considering the Obama administration has actually been training Islamists for elections. Iran announced on Wednesday, Dec. 14, that it had completed the transfer of its nuclear facilities underground, including its uranium enrichment centrifuges, and that the Iranian nuclear program was now safe from US and Israeli attack. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Passive Defense Division [sic], Gholamreza Jalali, said: “Our vulnerability in the nuclear area has reached the minimum level.” And if circumstances demand it, he said, uranium enrichment facilities would be placed in more secure locations. Israeli Defense Minister Barak has repeatedly warned that once it was buried in underground bunkers, Iran’s nuclear infrastructure could no longer be attacked; nor would it be possible to find out what was happening there. His meaning was that that [sic] no one would know when Iran started building nuclear bombs in deep underground chambers. Continue reading Oops
Like all people who only have the best intentions, these days “the only real journalist in Malta,” Daphne Caruana Galizia, must be as happy as she hasn’t been since the death of Osama bin Laden (Al Qaeda). Finally Gaddafi seems to have left Tripoli, and now, as “Dee says” on Ms Caruana Galizia’s blog, “the mad dog and his cubs” have yet only to be “smok[ed] out” from a few more “filthy cellar[s]” in which they might be hiding now and in the near future. And since everybody else, in a great historical moment like this, just should not worry all that much, but first of all be happy and full of solidarity, another member of Daphne’s blog ummah, “A. Charles,” recommends from the comment section of one of Daphne’s recent posts: “The next thing which people of goodwill should do is to celebrate this victory in Valletta on Saturday.” (Should only, and otherwise be strongly ashamed and hide well, because we have a real liberal democracy here at the time, while under Mintoff that thing would still have been far more compulsory.) The Dhimmi Times of Malta, today:
The Palestinian National Authority has thanked Malta for its help in the evacuation of 13 Palestinians from Libya last month.
In a letter to Foreign Affairs Minister Tonio Borg, Palestine’s Foreign Affairs Minister Riad Malki said that the Maltese government and people have always placed Palestine close to their hearts.
